Il mese di agosto della seconda edizione di “WOMEN FOR FREEDOM IN JAZZ” inaugura mercoledì alle 21 con la cantante e chitarrista Francesca Bertazzo Hart, accompagnata questa volta dallo straordinario contrabbassista Beppe Pilotto. Reduci dal successo dell'ultimo lavoro discografico “The Teaneck session”, che ha ricevuto ottime recensioni, Francesca Bertazzo Hart e Beppe Pilotto si propongono qui in formazione ridotta ma concentrata, da quintetto a duo. Anzi, da quintetto a trio, considerato infatti l'insolito polistrumentismo della Bertazzo che, oltre a cantare, suona divinamente la chitarra con cui si accompagna e improvvisa. Il loro repertorio è molto vario, jazz standard con interpretazioni e arrangiamenti di brani famosi e alcune composizioni originali tratte dall'ultimo cd. Il duo si concentra sull’interplay, lasciando spazio alla creatività che si esprime in momenti improvvisativi e interpretativi sorprendenti. L’ingresso all’evento è a 15 euro, prima consumazione compresa. Una parte dei proventi della maratona di concerti (3 euro per ingresso) sosterrà i progetti più urgenti di Women For Freedom.
