L’elegante Alice Testa, cantante dotata di una espressività fine dalle atmosfere folk-jazz, torna per il secondo anno all’Hotel Carlton per la maratona di concerti e solidarietà “WOMEN FOR FREEDOM IN JAZZ”, assieme all’apprezzato pianista veneziano Matteo Alfonso. Alice Testa e Matteo Alfonso, forti di una lunga collaborazione artistica, si sono esibiti nei principali jazz club e festival italiani con diversi progetti e formazioni. Oltre all'intensa attività concertistica hanno collaborato a livello discografico con “Alice's Room”, il disco di esordio di Alice, un lavoro che ha coinvolto artisti italiani e stranieri e che è stato selezionato da BBC Radio come disco consigliato e trasmesso da molte stazioni radio europee. In questa occasione presentano un elegante e coinvolgente omaggio ai grandi classici della storia del musical di Broadway e ai grandi interpreti del jazz, da Frank Sinatra a Ella Fitzgerald passando per Billie Holiday, Tony Bennett e Chet Baker. L’ingresso all’evento è a 15 euro, prima consumazione compresa. Una parte dei proventi della maratona di concerti (3 euro per ingresso) sosterrà i progetti più urgenti di Women For Freedom. Alice Testa and Matteo Alfonso, strong of a long artistic collaboration, have performed in the main Italian jazz clubs and festivals with different projects and formations. In addition to the intense concert activity, they collaborated on the record level with "Alice's Room", Alice's debut album, a work that involved Italian and foreign artists and that was selected by BBC Radio as a recommended disc and broadcasted by many radio stations European.
